Barnestoneworth Challenge II

Dear Players,

No doubt you are all still re-telling that story of how our great Club
overcame fearsome opposition in Barnestoneworth FC to win last year's
Wanderers Feast Day Cup. It was a day which put this Club on the world map,
and a game which also started the rot for BFC who went on to an unusually
poor season. Attached are some highlight photos from last year's epic.

Well, our former foes Barnestoneworth FC have challenged us to another game.
Again they seek pre-season trials, and again they come to the Wanderers for
a football lesson.

The enemy has booked the same ground as last year, and have offered to play
us on either February 20 or March 13, both sundays. This will be full field,
full rules, 11v11 mayhem of the highest order

If we have enough keen players I will accept their challenge. I believe we
should put our trophy on the line and go for double glory. We won't have
Cagey or Lanky Dave patrolling the defence, we won't have Hankers poaching
goals. The opposition will be more prepared, will have studied the video of
last year's game over and over looking for chinks in our armour. But this
makes the challenge all the more enticing.

Please let me know ASAP if you want to play. And whether you can make both
days or only one.
