Our Patron Saint Riseth

Cagey and other concerned Wanderers,

Wazzadona was released from hospital about 2 weeks ago, on the proviso that
he go home, rest, eat no curries and stay off the heroine. I believed he
promised to give the rogan josh a wide berth but made no such commitment on
the narcotics front, worried that to do so may harm his performance on the
field. Besides, his sponsors wouldn't allow it.

Although at home he's still quite unwell, I believe, but certainly better
than he was a few weeks ago. According to his Soccer Wife, Wazza is very
skinny now. She puts this down to the intestinal troubles he's been having.
I put it down to the heroine.

The Club sent a wonderful series of virtual (some call them 'invisible')
bouquets to Wazza and his family with our best wishes. Each contained a
wonderful assortment of exotic flowers, many of them endangered species. We
were able to use Van Hankelroy's "Frequent Flowers" tab at the Club Florist
to get rare blooms, as you'll see from the attached photos.

The Club Executive will continue to monitor Wazza's progress, and if his
illness is prolongued the Club Treasurer has indicated he will consider
cutting the Club Rebel's monthly stipend until he turns up for a game again,
in line with the Players Award. Harsh, but fair.

Yours awaiting the miracle of our Patron Saint's resurrection,
Don Juan Aaron
